A trainee lawyer with experience across corporate advisory, regulatory compliance, arbitration, and litigation, with a strong interest in legal research, innovation, and access to justice initiatives.
Malahim is a trainee lawyer at our Karachi office. Prior to joining the firm, he gained diverse experience across several reputable law practices. Most recently, he assisted corporate clients with regulatory compliance,commercial agreements, and general corporate advisory matters across multiple industries. He also supported complex arbitration and litigation proceedings, giving him exposure to both contentious and non-contentious aspects of legal practice. His earlier experience includes work relating to intellectual property, public procurement and infrastructure projects, as well as domestic violence and family law matters.
Alongside his legal practice, Malahim has maintained a strong interest in research, scholarship, legal innovation, and public-facing initiatives.Notably, he has contributed to the development of legal technology initiatives aimed at improving access to justice for survivors of domestic and gender-based violence, engaging with members of the judiciary and other stakeholders on outreach, training, and implementation efforts. His research and writing have focused on both domestic and international legal frameworks, including human rights law, international humanitarian law, and the legal dimensions of cyberwarfare.
Outside of his professional interests, Malahim enjoys literature, photography, music, architecture, history, and culture.
He speaks English, Urdu, Sindhi and Punjabi.
